AdultThought is a new student/staff/faculty association which encourages discussions of science, philosophy, religion, society and politics from an adult, secular humanist, Enlightenment perspective. To this end, it seeks to counter-balance various brutish, childish, intolerant, righteous, selfish, and superstitious forces which are being used to manipulate our society.It encourages thoughtful individuals to contribute time and effort in pursuit of these goals, even when political neutrality prevents the University from doing so.
